Wild Weekend
This weekend was tiring. It was really fun, but really tiring. Friday night we went to Clinton to meet our family for supper. Then we came back here, along with Martha, Mama, and Mandy. I think we saw God on the way back though....Joe says he saw him. We had to drive through a "severe thunderstorm" or what turned out to be two tornado warnings for the exact locations we were driving in. I have never been so scared in my entire life. We survived though, but one time it lightening(ed?) it lit up the sky so bright and there was a huge cloud right in front of us, and it so looked like God just sitting there watching his masterpiece. When we got back to Cola we went to bed and got up early Saturday only to drive in more storms down to Charleston. It was nice when we finally got to Charleston though. We shopped around all day, and then met some of our family for supper. We drove home and got back late that night. Then we got up early for Financial Peace and church. We had lunch and then came back home. Joe got in the yardwork mood and I got in a cleaning mood. So...our naps were no more, but I got alot of Spring cleaning done. We went grocery shopping, and finally came home for supper. We crashed on the couch and watched Extreme Makeover Home Edition, and at 9 we felt the effects of the weekend and crashed. So, good weekend, but I need another one now.
