No. This is not some random kid that I'm holding. THIS IS OUR NEW SON!!
Wait. What? We have 2 kids now? Yeah. We do.
We got a call Friday (yesterday) afternoon at 4:30pm that we had been chosen and our baby had already been born the day before. And we were to go get him the next day. THE. NEXT. DAY. aka. Saturday. Today. Yeah.
So, without spending a ton of time on here, and without sharing too many details, we got to go meet him tonight and we get to take him home tomorrow afternoon!
Ca-RAZY! This happened SO FAST! We're still a little bit shocked and trying to figure out what in the world is happening...but at this point we're at peace, but wanting to bring our son home.
We'll definitely post more updates tomorrow! But we wanted to do a quick shout out and introduce everyone to the actual New Kid on the Block...aka Jude!

Congratulations! I have followed your blog for a while (actually since my husband and I were waiting to adopt ourselves). This is the first time I've commented, but I just had to say how thrilled I am for your family. Adoption has been such a huge blessing to our family, and I'm excited for this 2nd blessing to yours! Congrats!
