We all know that old saying "it takes a village to raise a kid."  We've seen how true that is, from the very beginning, in our case of actually bringing our kids home, let alone raising them as sons and daughters of Christ. Adoption is a long process, full of ups and downs, and we continue to need your love and support as we continue this process again, so that we can grow our little family.

One way you can get involved is to simply pray. Prayer is such a huge help, and we've seen this first hand. Pray in general for all birth mothers and their babies. Pray that they are peaceful and know God and his love. Then you can pray for all the waiting families who can't wait to bring their precious kiddos home and smooch all over them. Next you can pray specifically for our new baby Jude and his birth mama. We already love them so much and hope that they are both as happy and healthy as can be. We continually pray that our new birth mama can find joy in the Lord and joy in knowing who we are and where her baby is going to have their forever home. Join in that prayer with us.

And as always, most things cost money. Adoption is no exception. We're going to have a fun online auction fundraiser later this summer so keep your eyes open for the cool crafts and wares we'll have for that. In the meantime, if you feel led, you can partner with us in bringing our child home by donating to our adoption fund through Paypal.

(as far as we know, at this time, donating to adoptions is not tax deductible. Stink.)
