Fun days at work, what a novel idea....

Yeah, I definitely love my new job. Today I finally understood why some people like to get up and get to the office early and sometimes stay late. They actually love what they're doing. I'm now here....YAY. I have something that actually means something to someone else, and I need to get it done, not for me, but for their wellbeing. And today was just a fun day all in all. First we had our spring company picnic at a great park. We ate, played frisbee, hiked, and played in the river. Then I went on a tour of the assistive technology department of the Midlands Center, a place where people who need little gadgets to help them become more independent and go and check things out. So all afternoon I played with these fun things like hands free page turners, eye movement activated typing, and anything you can think of. So I pretty much played all day, while getting paid. And it looks like I'll be able to go to the schools and visit my consumers and play with them alot too...YAY!!
