These are the days of our lives...
Yesterday Joe and I watched I Am Legend. WOW. Great movie...all you can say. I can't tell anything about it because it will ruin it, but GO RENT IT! Today is my last day at VR. Everybody brought great goodies to munch on all day..which we did, everytime we passed by the conference room. They also gave me a really sweet card. It's always great to hear that you actually are recognized for the things you do and mean to people. Next on the agenda is a "going away" party for some of our friends from Radius, Stephen and Heidi. They're moving to Washington state for about a year and a half. I think it's so funny that Joe and I were so scared to even move to Columbia, and they're just uprooting and going across the nation and they're not the least bit scared. They love it! They're amazing. Next topic: Stuart's message two weeks ago at Radius. I don't know if he knows this, but he blew us all away. Joe and I thought we were the only ones still reeling from what he was talking about, but aparently our whole church felt the same. It was one of those talks that you want him to tell you the answer, but he leaves you wondering and pondering. Well good job Stuart, you have totally messed up my mind....for the better. Props!

OK, so I want to know what Stuart talked about!
ReplyDeleteThe gist is that there tends to be an imaginary circle about Christ. There are the Christians who tend to stay in the circle, but there are also those people who say they are Christians but do everything they are not supposed to, looking away from Christ. There are also those athiests or agnostics who do everything looking toward Christ but acknowledging Him. How do we deal with that?
