Top 10...

Top 10 things I've learned in the past week:

1. I may never be able to clean my house again. (without a baby in one arm and a toddler pulling the vacuum cleaner in the other.

2. Showering is now a luxury.

3. Actually doing something to my hair after said shower is potentially going to be unheard of.

4. I am no longer a night person. However...my sons think they need to be.

5. I am tired of watching Veggie Tales. I may hurt Bob and Larry.

6. I love food...and hate cooking. People bringing meals to us is A-mazing. I think we need to incorporate some kind of new meal swap program....stay tuned (not..I wouldn't have time to do this..see next point.)

7. I no longer have free time.

8. IF I do wind up with free time...it is spent sleeping.

9. Whoever is shooting fireworks outside in our neighborhood...I WILL FIND YOU!

10. All jokes aside....being a family of four so quickly has been really good! We had no idea how quickly our lives were going to change and how quickly we would all fall in love with our new little dude. We are amazed yet again at how God has been orchestrating things behind the scenes so that our family can now be together and love on each other. And love on each other we have done! We have again been reminded that God is in control and knows and DESIRES what's best for us...and we've been given another huge reason to be eternally in love with Him.

And now for today's "aww" moment...

All my boys cuddling in the morning...

  1. Meg! I am beyond thrilled for the Pitts fam. Jude is adorable and I can't wait to meet him. I love everything on your top 10 list - so true. Life with two little ones is a wild ride, but you will get into a routine just like you did with the first. Enjoy every minute with your boys!

  2. I couldn't be happier for you guys... or for Jude, for that matter. What a blessed (and adorable!) little fellow to be placed in your loving and capable hands. It tickles me to think about how awesome God is and how he's already provided so wonderfully for Jude, by "delivering" him to a family who knows and loves the Lord! Love it! All my love, Mere (Martin) Johnsen
