What? John Piper and Tedashii? Oh. Heck. Yes.
This week Joe and I have been talking a ton about passivity toward sin and how it can fester and how much we need to have great people around us to continually check us on our sin. We've felt very burdened by how easily Satan can use the sin in us and around us to creep into your own life and marriage so sneakily but wreak so much havoc.
At first we were very shaken by this realization, but then we became more and more angry. Angry at Satan, angry at sin. Then Joe remembered a song he was listening to this week and it was so cool. God totally used rap music from Tedashii and words of wisdom by John Piper (never thought I'd use that in the same sentence) to speak to us.
This is a daily, probably minute by minute fight we have to wage against sin and Satan. And it's not too drastic to say that we need to MAKE WAR against it!
