Playing in the leaves...

Sundays are interesting days with naps. Most of the time we're searching for interesting things to keep cranky one year old Bubba interested until late nap time. Yesterday was an "ah ha!" moment. We were outside playing and wondered if he'd like playing in a leaf pile. So out came the rakes and we started raking. He kept looking over at us like "what are you crazy people doing now?" Until he saw the pile. His eyes lit up. He started crawling so fast with that look of love in his eyes that it was kind of reminiscent of movie scenes where two people in love run toward each other in slow motion. Yeah. Like that.

He played and played. He loved it when we tossed him into the middle. He kind of disappeared for a second. Little strange...but apparently hilarious to him!

Dad had to get in on the action too.
