Rain Rain Go Away....

Thursday night started to stir around the frustration with rain. Normally rain is fine....it's even becoming a good thing since we started our garden. However, when I saw the forecast for 70% chance of rain starting Saturday morning, I was not overjoyed. I was helping to coordinate my friend's wedding, an outdoor, garden wedding. She chose a gorgeous location, the Kilgore Lewis House. We had a rain plan....we thought. Then we saw how bad it was going to rain....and we were still under-prepared. Needless to say, things were COMPLETELY different for the wedding on Saturday than we had been planning for about 5 months now, but ultimately...they were married before God and before all their family and friends. And I haven't talked to her yet about her thoughts on the day, but I and everyone I talked to said it was a "perfectly imperfect" day. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. William Rieppe Moore!
