The countdown begins...

We're going to be homeowners in 7 days. I keep hearing the voice from The Ring saying "seven days" in that raspy whisper voice. This has been exciting, but so much more stressful than I thought it would be. A lot of it is my procrastination tendencies, but now that we've only got a week to go it's crazy trying to get everything ready to go! I've decided that I can't expect to get the house the way I want it that first week. I have to take it one step at a time and eventually I'll get everything unpacked and decorated the way I want. I am hard core nesting with this house, more than any other places we've been since we've been married. I guess because I know this will be OURS and I want it to show US and our personalities. Who knew it would be this hard figuring out my decorating personality? If you see me or talk to me, remind me to take it slow and enjoy this time, so that I can look back and have good memories of fixing up our first house!
