Each year in January Joe goes to heaven. Not Heaven heaven, but Joe's little piece of heaven at the Motor Trend Car Show. This is serious people, there is no talk of missing this event. He buys tickets online, so we don't have to waste time in line when we get there. He maps the event out, so as to provide the best route for his viewing pleasure. He meticulously reviews each car/truck/SUV/concept car and memorizes EVERYTHING about them. This year he started asking me questions about the cars, but after a while determined that I was not the best person to play this game with, and stopped. Usually they have some kind of driving thing, like one year they had a Toyota Offroad Experience, and last year they had a Chevrolet test track. This year they didn't have anything like that, but I think Joe had just as good of a time looking at all the new designs of cars coming out. We got to see the new and improved Penny the Pathfinder, as well as some of Joe's dream cars on a scale of "never ever gonna get" to "probably not going to get anytime soon but maybe in the future." It's really fun to watch him get so excited about something that I have such a hard time understanding. Until next year pretty cars......1.28.2009
