"We Can Hardly Stand the Wait..."

It's officially Christmas time. I heard the Chipmunks song on the radio. Who can resist not blasting that song and singing at the top of your lungs? Or maybe that's just me....Anyways...Christmas season kicks off for us today. Three trips to G-vegas in 3 weeks for 5 different Christmas events. Woohoo! It's going to get a little hectic, but it will be fun! We decided last night that we are really excited about this Christmas for some reason. We both have been really pounded hard by state budget cuts and economic problems with our jobs, and the time in G-vegas will be a welcomed time to forget all that! We love being able to see our long lost family and friends and spending some quality time with them. And then there's the presents....haha jk. Something else we're trying to do this year is really remember what this time is all about, and not just all the fun and presents. Maybe it is all of the hard stuff going on, but the holidays make us feel very thankful that we have what we have and it is all from God...the real 'reason for the season'.
