Lesson's to Ponder
Be Generous
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10
Just married, Meg and Joe moved a few pieces of used furniture into an apartment. They were a typical example of a young couple starting out small. In the wedding ceremony, Med and Joe had committed their union to God and had given Him the position of Lord over their home. God was pleased and honored by the way the young pair were stewards of the gifts they had been given. Blessings, not always material ones, poured upon the couple as God gave them love and peace. They were found faithful with little and were given much. God liked what He saw in Joe and Meg's management of time and resources, so they were entrusted with more. Our Heavenly Father is so wise. He will not over gift us, lest we become boastful, thinking ourselves to be the providers. But He is generous. He even knows what we need before we ask! Our wealth is not determined by how much we have, but by how little we need after depending on God.
Thank You, Father, for being my provider. Help me be faithful with my resources by being generous to others.
Wow. Made me teary and gave me chills. That's awesome. And a good lesson to go ahead and learn....always be looking for God!
